Overview

Bag Bank explained

Bag Bank is the loyalty programme for truckers who move Rock Hard cement. Credit is earned in bags on the loads you carry, posted once the order is paid and delivery confirmed, and redeemed against cement and services. It is never convertible to cash, the rate applied is stored on every transaction, and a later rate change can never restate what a member has already earned.

Capabilities

How the programme is built

Earned per bag

Credit accrues on bags actually moved, not on promises or targets.

Standing raises the rate

Fast Lane and Front Line uplifts, plus route, off-peak and return-load bonuses.

Two separate wallets

Haulage money you are owed is paid as money. Bag Bank is loyalty credit — never mixed.

Rate locked to the transaction

The rate applied is stored on the transaction. A later change never restates past earnings.

No cash conversion

Ever. This protects the member as much as it protects Rock Hard.

Caps, expiry, review

Monthly cap of 25 bags, credits expire after the approved period, terms reviewed quarterly.

Deep dive

The detail behind it

Why we start where there is room to grow

The earning rate begins deliberately modest, because a reward can always be raised and can almost never be cut. In this trade a cut is read as bad faith and costs far more goodwill than the money saves. Starting with headroom means we can pay more for the behaviour that actually helps — off-peak collection, return loads, clean documents, kept slots — instead of paying a flat rate for everything and then having to claw it back.

Disclosure is what makes this safe

Every store order screen carries one line above the total explaining that the hauler moving the load earns Bag Bank credit, that it is not cash-convertible, and that it does not change the price the store pays. Loyalty schemes in freight go wrong when the customer discovers them rather than being told. We tell them first, on every order, and the programme keeps its integrity as a result.

Two wallets, on purpose

Haulage earnings and loyalty credit are different things and are held in different wallets. Money owed for transport is a payable and is paid as money. Bag Bank is a redeemable credit balance in bags with a cap, an expiry and a redemption catalogue. Keeping them apart means a member always knows what he can spend, what he is owed, and which rules apply to each.
